Hello Beautiful Souls,
Do you ever feel you are on an important journey, feeling guided by your own intuition or unseen energy to fulfill something you are purposefully meant to do, but you can’t quite figure it all out? All the details are fuzzy. You can feel its importance or you may even get glimpses of the direction you're supposed to take but for the life of you, you cannot see or comprehend the where, when, how or why.
It is as if there is a fog clouding the whole picture you know is there. You reach for it but cannot quite grasp it. It's kind of like trying to remember the name from that one band you really love - you can see their faces in your mind, even their logo, but it’s completely fuzzy and you cannot make out the words.
This is me. This is how I have felt over the years since I began this beautiful work. I have felt the fire of my purpose pushing me along blindly trying to reach an unknown destination. My need to control, plan and know has held the fog thickly around me. Until VERY recently I finally just let go of what I thought I should be doing to follow what brings me peace and joy and suddenly, the fog began to clear and I can now see more detail on this internal map.
As always, everything makes more sense once we get to the other side. Looking back I understand why the fog was important. Yes, the fog was there for a purposeful reason. Of course it would have been great to see the whole picture and get right to the point. However, the fog lingers until we learn what we need to understand for the next step in the directions. It is our opportunity to heal, rewire old beliefs, remove limits, create new paths, meet new people, find and learn something different, etc. Once we have accomplished a lesson, we receive a new tool and the fog lifts just enough to reveal the next phase.
The fog is also stubborn and will not move until you do the work. Sometimes that means failing or adjusting your path or tactics. This is a reminder that the lessons are all in the journey. This is a reminder that the lessons are all in the journey. The lessons can be messy, but without them including failure, hitting dead-ends or realizing the path we took was leading to a different destination that we wanted, we cannot succeed. These lessons are guiding us to evolve.

Hard Lessons Learned. New path same destination - My journey in my purposeful work has had many twists and turns as I’ve blindly navigated a feeling while forcefully controlling its course. Over my holiday break I have taken much time to focus inward and feel out the directions I have taken so far. Something has been out of alignment that I knew needed to be fixed to make it to the next stop along this magnificent journey. This fix requires me to let go and allow.
This brings me to new clarity of where I feel I should be drawing my energy and focus:
Podcast/YouTube on Pause
I’m taking a season off. This was a bittersweet decision to make. I know I have so much more wisdom to share, however running a weekly podcast takes much time and energy. After 5 seasons I need to take a break to reassess if this is still a direction that requires my full energy. If I am being totally honest, I don’t know if it will continue, at least the way it is now. However I will leave you knowing that if I decide to discontinue I will be filtering my wisdom in another format… maybe in written form.
Social Media Removal
I will be totally honest here, I am not a fan of social media. I have tried with my might to do what I ‘thought’ I should for my business and in doing so found that I was losing something along the way (feels like my dignity at times). The energy of social media and my business do not feel like they are meant for each other. Nor my tactics of sharing and marketing. This is something that is requiring practice - trial and error and sometimes a full on fumble on my face. However, what feels right for me will be updating those who choose to follow to subscribe through email. I will be focusing and keeping my website up-to-date with new happenings and offering more emails, which gives me the freedom to write (my current energy).
With this new focus and freedom I will be funneling my energy into creating new courses (see one listed below), live public speaking events, writing new books and even mentoring. So much is in the works and I am excited to complete them and share with you (like an in depth workbook for an upcoming online course for Empaths). February Astrology Forecast
I love astrology. Often when I feel big energy come up in my life I begin to notice others around me going through similar experiences. That's when I reach out to my good friend Tracey to explain what is happening in the stars always leaving me feeling validated and not alone. Now, I want to share those insight with you. I have asked Astrologer, Tracey Couto to write a monthly forecast so you can be prepared for what's coming too.
It's Aquarius season Beautiful Souls! The energy at this time of the year is electric, eccentric, innovative and ingenious. This is the time of year when our minds become more active and intuition flows more rampantly. The tune we hear from the Universe is different for each of us and gets us moving to the beat of our own inner drum. Stepping outside of the conventional norms and the tried and true is the way we grow now. Living life on your own terms, in your own special way - even if the people in your life don't understand or seem to be on the same page - is the flavor of this season.
The New Moon on January 29th is a great time to set the intention to try something intellectually creative that involves new methods or technology that is more progressive and unfamiliar. Doing this gives us the freedom to break free from ways of being and doing that we've outgrown or were too limiting so we can fully put our own unique and original spin into our projects. The trine to Jupiter expands all that ingenious and innovative energy, giving us a thirst for more knowledge. Some great ways to utilize this exhilarating energy is by networking with others of like-mind and sharing what we know with each other or taking a variety of classes that will offer us more insight and information to help us work our originality into something extraordinary.
By the time of the Leo Full Moon on February 12th, will you be ready to take what's been flowing from your mind onto paper or screen and press that send button? Leo energy is dramatic, charismatic, outgoing, joyful and playful. The name of the game is to express yourself with the innocence, freshness and spontaneity of a child. There is a square between Mercury and Uranus tied into this Full Moon that can challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and put yourself out there for the world to see. It will help you to conquer any fears of looking silly or any worries of not being well received or understood if you allow it to. Have fun and remember that there are people out there who need the gift that only you can give. So shine that beautiful light of yours and make this world a much better place.
